The 90:10 unenlightened quota resolution

Nothing to me is more idiotic that this GR passed recently by the govt. of maharashtra! what happens if 200 schools (new or old) turn to non-ssc boards sending more students of such boards to choose colleges of their choice? (which they ought to given the rotten curriculum of the ssc board.)

will the govt then revert to alternate percentages?

there has been no futuristic thinking into this GR. no sensitivity. no inclusiveness. no philanthrophy. no equalizing. no nothing.

it wont help anybody except fuel the mushrooming of more junior colleges of non-ssc boards by the ill-gotton wealth of the politicians, who rule the education system anyway.

lets see what the HC decides 29th. my opinion? scrap it.

HIGH COURT HAS TRASHED THE GR, SAYING TO THE GOVT, AMONGST OTHER 'KIND' WORDS, THAT THE DECISION WAS 'MINDLESS'.
cheers!

Changing the Indian Education System

Seems like the new goverment has set its eyes on some serious progressive governance! The HRD minister recently announced an overhaul of the educational pattern related to high school studies!

The drudgery of 'pushy' parents & 'edgy' parents together achieveing nothing more than marks & some high BP with trauma as the obvious fallout is all set to come to naught, if the minister has his way.

Great going! Good intent. We await content.

cheers!

wHAT tOURISM mEANS tO mE

The word finder defines tourism as a noun meaning “the business activity connected with providing accommodation, services and entertainment for people who are visiting a place for pleasure.”

Undeniably it is all this. Conspicuously more as well! Tourism relates to me in terms of outer exploration & inner search. It is a process to seek answers to screaming posers erupting internally. It means to re-establish a relation to where I originated from and a destination to which I am fated to converge with at eternity. It also denotes a possible karma which has to be fulfilled. At times it is to take an intrepid walk outside of my comfort zone to explore occurrences beyond. It is an exercise for my body, soul & mind to start flirting with natural rhythms of one another culminating into an eventual spiritual reunion to create a symphony of life. A philosophy to transform the process of being well off to one of well being. That of not merely earning a living but one of carving out a life. A transformation so exuberant and enriching, to stay devoid of which means anguish within. A meditative state to unearth the central fulcrum between enduring & curing. One of ecstasy to arrive at the destination just as much as the journey towards it. An odyssey beyond mortal existence. A debate towards self searching & self seeking in a reflective state of mind. To fuse the five senses within with the five elements without. A weld of the real with the virtual.

In stately effect, it is to me a holistic navigation towards self empowerment ……
An all encompassing JOURNEY OF IMAGINATION.
