About Me

urban lama: Pune born & bred. BE, MBA, GDMM. Opted for alternate career after multi-national jobs sucked for 12 years! Dint play by the 'worldly' rule book of life & living. Still don't quite do that. Avidly trekked the Indo-Tibetan Himalayas. Lived with and trained under Tibetan monks and Masters for months on end. Ran a premium destination tour company, Moving Clouds, for 6years. Wife and two grown up kids. All of us at peace with life. Presently dedicate time to Tibetan Buddhist study, practice and teaching. Also, faculty and resource person at Padma Mani Translation Committee, Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple- Coorg), S.India, since 2015.
